The sufferer is constantly anticipating disaster and has negative thoughts which could be about health issues, relationships, money or family problems. People suffering from free floating anxiety disorder cannot pinpoint why they are feeling this way and can easily lead to panic attacks.

Anxiety causes panic attacks

With the onset of a panic attack the sufferer experiences an intense feeling of terror and the feeling of being out of control their heart beat will increase dramatically as a wave of anxiety rushes over them. These attacks can start unprovoked striking without warning and although most panic attacks only last a few minutes they will seem and eternity for the sufferer. Once the panic attack is over the sufferer will still find themselves anxious not knowing when the next attack will take place it is an anxious loop of dread and worry.
