Analytical Hypnotherapy

Hypnoanalysis (Analytical therapy)

Analytical hypnotherapy also known as Hypnoanalysis (unlike conventional suggestion therapy) finds and releases the root cause of your problem removing your symptoms once and for all. This type of analytical therapy is extremely effective in resolving deep rooted emotional problems usually taking around 6-8 consecutive sessions.

Principles of Analytical hypnosis

Even as a new born baby our subconscious mind has a preprogrammed defense mechanism to cover up or repress events that we may find traumatic and too difficult to deal with. This inbuilt protection mechanism is working at its full potential when we are young, as our intellectual and emotional development is immature and ill equipped to deal and work through these experiences. Our subconscious mind believes the best thing to do is to repress these memories and attached emotions thus keeping us safe. These emotions are not expressed as our psyche does not know how to deal with them we may remember the event but the emotion is not released the subconscious mind has locked it away.

Free floating anxiety

We are all carrying around the baggage of our past experiences and repressed emotions, some of us more than others but none the less we all have them. These repressed emotions have not been worked through and our still bubbling beneath the surface which causes an internal anxiety called free floating anxiety.

We have all felt stressed or anxious at some point not knowing why, just feeling grumpy or short tempered. 'Got out of bed the wrong side?' No this is our internal anxiety changing our behavior we know we are behaving in this way and that it is wrong but we cannot snap out of it until our internal anxiety settles down.

So why are some people more anxious than others?

Analytical therapy - Hypnoanalysis explainedThis all depends on our early emotional experiences and how our subconscious mind dealt with them. A good example would be to think of a glass of water, the water representing our free floating anxiety. If we have a high level of unresolved anxiety with the glass being full as we go about our day it would not be long before the days troubles would cause the glass to over flow changing our behavior.

On the other hand if we have lowered our internal anxiety levels to half or even a quarter of the glass we would be able to deal with the days troubles as we have less free floating internal anxiety leaving us more of the glass to deal with the troubles we are faced with on a daily basis.
